Our church Youth group has named themselves B.A.S.I.C. Youth (Becoming A Soldier in Christ).   The group represents all three high schools in Gordon County:  Calhoun High School, Gordon Central High School, and Sonoraville East High School;  as well as three different middle schools:  Calhoun Middle School, Sonoraville Middle School, and Ashworth Middle School.

B.A.S.I.C. Youth meetings take place on Sunday and Wednesday evenings, at 6:00 pm.  Some meetings are held at the church, but many take place in members' homes.  Meetings include food, fellowship, Bible Study, and fun!

 

Just as a hospital focuses resources in the area of greatest vulnerability, so also our congregation realizes that our greatest opportunity is with Youth whose identity and faith development are at an intensive and critical stage of formation.  Please pray for God to continue to be among our Youth, their parents and families and our Congregation's members as we seek to "Love  ALL to Christ!"
