  • Coming up:

·         Congregational Nominating Committee – Wednesday, July 16, 6:00 pm  --  Please let a member of the committee know if you have any input that you would like them to consider!

·         Pressbyterian Newsletter Deadline – Deadline for the August issue of the Pressbyterian is this Sunday, July 20.

Please pray for:

  • Family of Mac Walter, who joined the Church Triumphant at 4:00 am on July 16.  Visitation at Thomas Funeral Home, Thursday, 4:00-8:00 pm.  Memorial Service, Friday, 4:00 pm (at CFPC).
  • Lance Poteet, who left for basic training (Air Force) on Monday, July 14.
  • Ashley Driscoll (John and Suzanne’s niece) – also preparing to enter basic training.

  • Joanne Owens (Julie Leggett’s mother) – After nerve tests last week, it has been determined that she will definitely have to have surgery on her back, which should help to alleviate her pain and prevent further deterioration and nerve damage.  The family continues to be hopeful and grateful for the care she is receiving in Dallas, Texas.
  • Roy Rabb, as he is settling into his new “digs” (new address below).  Prayers for strength and motivation to use his walker and continue rehab, as well as improved overall health will be appreciated.
  • Barbara Roberts is recovering well after her recent surgery, and is thankful for all of our support and prayers
  • Keith Franklin (Pat Tatham’s brother) – will have his tonsils removed on July 17 due to possible cancer
  • Vivian Randall – after heart catheterization in Rome, responding well to medications, further testing expected
  • Linda Topping – CAT Scan last week
  • Terry Whitney’s mother – health problems
