About
Our Church is a diverse family that is committed to living out our faith together and seeking to live out our mission, to be a family of God’s children who strive to share God’s gifts of love, wealth, talents and our understanding of the Gospel with all in need. We first opened our doors to the Calhoun & Gordon County community nearly 150 years ago. Since then, we have witnessed the growth of both our church family, and the Calhoun community. Most weeks, our church is very active, hosting a number of regular activities, including:
- B.A.S.I.C. Youth meetings: Sundays at 6:00 pm & Wednesdays at 6:00 pm.
- Choir Practice: Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
- KIDZ CLUB: Wednesdays at 5:30 pm.
- Adult Bible Study: Mondays at 6:30 pm & Tuesdays at 10:00 am.
- Men’s Devotional Group: (usually) Thursdays at 6:00 am.

Calhoun First Presbyterian Church is a PC(USA) congregation, and is a member of the Synod of the South Atlantic, and Cherokee Presbytery.
