Church Auction a great success!!
The recent Forward in Faith II auction (on July 30) was a great success. Over $5,000 was raised toward our building project. Thanks to all those who donated and/or bought items!!!
Lunch at VAC begins on June 22!
Calhoun First Presbyterian Church will be preparing and serving a meal at the Voluntary Action Center every 4th Wednesday of the month beginning on June 22. We are asking for everone’s help! The meals will be served from 11:00—1:00 at the building that is owned by VAC located to the right of the VAC facility here in Calhoun. We will prepare as much of the meal as we possibly can on the Tuesday night before the 4th Wednesday of each month. Then we will take the food over to the VAC building on Wednesday to serve. Anyone is invited to participate in the meal, but we are targeting the needy and those who need a good hot meal. Stacy Long, director of VAC, thinks that we will probably serve anywhere from 50-100 meals. Here are the ways that you can help:
1. Help prepare the meal on the Tuesday night before the 4th Wednesday of each month. We will prepare our first meal on June 21 at our church.
2. Help serve the meal at VAC on the 4th Wednesday of the month. We will go over to VAC about 10:00 am, serve the meal and give fellowship to those eating, and clean up afterwards.
3. Donate cookies, brownies, and/or iced tea to serve. These will need to be brought to the church between Sunday and the morning of the 4th Wednesday of each month.
4. Give a financial donation to the Missions Committee to help cover the cost.
5. Pray for this mission of our church.
6. Any or all of the above.
We appreciate all that you do for the missions of this church. God Bless all of you. There are definitely those in Calhoun and Gordon County who are hungry. Let’s reach out to our neighbors who are less fortunate and need our comfort and help.

New Missions Project
Our Waterwalkers Sunday School class is sponsoring a new Missions Project — we are looking to help you take care of any unfinished business you have around your house or an organization you work with. We are even interested in getting your groceries or driving you around if you need transportation.
If you need help, or you are interested helping others, please contact Darin Hardin — thanks!

Welcome to our New Website!
Friends,
Greetings and Peace to you all! It is with thanksgiving and praise that we celebrate the launch of our new website. We hope you will find it to be a great new resource that you can use and share with others as you LOVE ALL TO CHRIST throughout the Calhoun & Gordon County area. Throughout the website you will find information about our church, our history, our leadership, our staff, youth ministry, men’s ministry, women’s ministry, and much more, as well as an interactive calendar and a growing digital media center. You’ll also be able to locate us on Facebook, where you can connect with others in the FPC Family.
Let us know what you think of the new website. We can’t wait to hear how you’re using it, and sharing it with others.
Blessings,
